| recently, i've found that my english language skills has retarded terribly and substantially.... when i was writing up my CV, cover letters and answering some application questions set by the companies, i couldn;t believe that i was making up such stupid expression.... the only 'asset' i have has already left me..why??? in order to get you back i will not give in!!! By good luck and thank Buddha, I got a number of friends and my sister to glance over my writings..especially thanks for my friend's husband who responded as englsih teacher by particularly giving comments and making promt corrections. well...after all these tedious progress, i got interviews... this wed. i will go to Deloitte for the assessment center. Now I;m being very anxious and even jumpy about this forthcoming interview. Wish me luck~* This sat. another test i have to sit for required by another firm....well again feel unprepared, yeh i know theoratically i can;t prepare for that as it's testing my crystallized and fluid intelligence. But I really wanna grasp this chance to try my best and make a change where i'm able to do so. At the same time, I'm prepared with contingency plan---> never give in and never get myself depressed. I remember one of my friend, Cherry told me that 'our eyes are pointing forward, not looking back, we should not always concern a lot the past but look forward' she';s right. And tonight I watched a TV program about a Thai millionaire possessing the same philosophy that he will look back at most for the past hour, then consider about the future. Tonight again, work around the clock for the assignments....enjoy~ | | |
| this is really my first time to meet such a girl in my group
everyone is asking me why i took this course so late, it's supposed i took it last year. anyway...that's a histoirc reason...dun wanna remind...and now i'm grouping with people who are all one year lower than i am...feel like i'm an old girl but in fact just one year in gap!! visualizing that this group would be as nice as the one in China Business Workshop..... finally...i couldn't imagine how a girl just one year younger than i am could play politics in that sophisticated way...moreover, one more thing frustrates me is that i didn't do anything to her but she's now picking me!!! during our meeting, we all use month-tongue language ---cantonese as the 'official language' but she uses english to communicate...why?? a boy asked her ...she replied in a snobbish way, 'because Victoria is a member of Eng. Debate Team' ....what??? was she pleasing me or the other way around?? moreover, i don't mean to use eng. normally even i'm a member of eng. debate team.... when deciding the date of regular meeting...... she always insists on picking Tue afterclass..but i've already informed the group of my unavailability in that time slot ... but she still insists ...and when i suggest another time slot she just said,'alright then next meeting we will discuss.' but next meeting i couldn't be ok ... this course is a very interesting one , the grade given is not based on only the work u do but the impressoins from the instructor and peer groupmates... the grade stresses much on team work... o goodness....please hope no rigorous conflicts happened among our group and bless the girl ..please be a lady not to be mean | | |
| Haha..this is my first time to participate in a ball..... this time was an annual ball of a hall in HKU Before that I hadn't known about my ball partner until the time we met at the MTR..haha... He said that I was different from all the pics I sent him and that of my MSN icon. Is it that I look so different in pics?? anyway, I think seeing a real thing is better than just looking at the pics la..haha... Let;s share some pics.... Phoenix looked pretty that night~ and her ball partner was quite friendly and helpful...about my ball partner...I think he is quite shy and good at playing piano tim....^^ he was one of the performers who played piano that night lei~
see...my ball partner who was sitting on the left was performing , but couldn't see his face ... actually at the beginning of his performance I was not in my seat but in the washroom.... ...luckily Wilson asked pheonix and I to go back and not to miss such opportunity... his performance was good lei~
it was a beautiful scene....however Pheonix left early.... just a minute after that night is my ball partner's B'day ----Happy B'day! haha..Wilson prepared those little cakes from the ball...haha..

| Whenever u think of Africa, i think people in HK will think of children starving and family got scattered. Recently, I read a piece of news about our PRC president got a trip to Africa. Again the trip was about politics and economic development. Of course since 2001 US National Intelligence Council released a proposal of ' African Oil: A Priority for US National Security and African Development' The western side of Africa will be 'targeted' by US and the southern side will be 'targeted' by PRC.Being a giant country and facing a situation of economic development, natural resources e.g. oil, metal, coal, diamond, gold, u name it, is in an exignet need . So it is reasonable to explore some ores or natural resouces sites. However within this politics there is a world wide controversial issue -- a racial conflicts in Darfur. There are about 80 races with different religious background and belief. So u could imagine how easily there will be conflicts and even wars there. From the news it mentioned about a group called Janjaweed. Whenever the government retreats out of a valley, they will then burglarize the valley, all men are killed and women are raped.... all valuables are robbed.... some women will be sloughed to be their white slaves for a week... While you are feeling so sad about your own affairs, like bf/gf or money or job or assets and etc. pls think about the other side of the world. You will find that u've been very lucky to be born in HK. Latestly, there is a film showing called BLOOD DIAMOND. the story is about what is happening to the people living in Africa... it's more about how the diamond you're now wearing come to commerce... there are some stories behind.. Bless all the people in the world to be happy everyday!!! I bless you from the bottom of my heart | | |
| haha...first time lei.... well...these two months i got many things happened to me.... first many gatherings..and then a few events...then schooling stuff... for the study tour in harbin and shanghai, i learnt quite a lot of things, like efficiently rushing around three places in a week, how to handle 40 something active guys in a group and of course some politics.... well..some argue about that students should not be exposed to politics in the life as a student but some may on the other hand counter-say that it's the right time for them to prepare. Actually politics does happen in our daily lives, just spare a minute to look around, in your family, your friends and the working place. I'm not being negative. But in some extent, it's what the world now is doing and working. However, steering all your attention to politics when you are still a student does not make you look better. At some material time, you might be damaging the relationship with your classmates or probably your friends. So here comes to a point of friendship. The friendship formed in school life is different from those formed later in your life. I am not just saying it in my own point of view, but it is again the fact. The friendship formed in University has been experienced a memorable school life and some other hurdles which strengthened this relationship extensibly. So a relationship with longer history is always stronger than that with shorter. Coming back to the topic of politics in University. The real purpose for all politics not only in U but in other fields is benefist of interest! If we just balance the gain and loss in the Ulife politics, it seems that what u're gaining in beating the politics is outweighed by the harm it brings. I couldn't deny that it might be helpful in preparing our life in career. However should we be that seriously participating ? Then it's a matter of degree. In a nutshell, it is concluded that we should be acknowledged of the presence of politics but be aware of the harm it brings to. For whatever you have chosen to be, it shoud be made after balancing the pros and cons. haha..quite serious tim...but just write down some words...poor english lu~ will catch up soon !! anyway..... let's share some pics in a big big PRC company called BU Kan which manufactures steels in Shanghai..outside the TOILET!!!
